GiveThx is a research-validated K-12 program where students and educators send each other short, specific 'Thx' notes that build real connection and belonging across their school community. In just minutes a week, GiveThx helps everyone, students and educators alike, feel safer, more connected, and ready to learn.

the problem we're solving

60% of youth say loneliness affects their mental health

More than half of US high schoolers lack a sense of belonging at school.While digitally connected, many feel unseen in their daily lives.

The effects show up everywhere. Loneliness is taking a toll on student mental health, and anxiety and depression are rising across K–12.

Most support is reactive, reaching only a fraction of students and usually only after they're already struggling. Teletherapy and AI can add capacity, but they still focus on treating individuals, not on the daily relationships that shape how students feel at school.

Schools need a practice that builds belonging into the school day, strengthening connection for every student, not just those in crisis.
